Monster of a Cup
$35.00
Craft your very own monster cup! This event is open to ages 13 and up—teens and adults are welcome.
At Amused Studios, you'll start with a pre-made leather-hard cup in your choice of shape: a skull, Frankenstein, or a pumpkin. Alternatively, you can design your own unique monster using any of these base shapes.
You also have the option to make a second monster cup for an additional $15. This includes a new shape of your choice and an extra hour for sculpting.
During the workshop, you’ll shape and refine your monster cup under the guidance of our instructor. Afterward, the pottery will be glazed with food-safe colors chosen by you, and will be ready for pickup in about 2-3 weeks.
Students are encouraged to use all time allotted to complete and refine their sculptures.

Pick-a-pot Raku
$50.00
Raku is a fast firing where the piece is heated up in the kiln after decorated and then pulled out of the hot kiln and set on fire. The carbon creates unique marks on each piece.
Pick a premade vase made by Amused Studios and choose how to decorate it. We have a variety of low fire Raku -glazes that react with the fire and create unusual effects making each pot different. You can also try the horse hair and or feather technique as well. pots can also be purchased the day of the Raku for $25 each- ordering ahead help us have enough ready for the class.
Also, If you want to raku work you make you can take classes with us at least- 2 weeks in advance.
Classes run from 12 to approximately 5 pm, times will vary depending on amount of pots glazed in a class.
People are welcome to bring snacks and use the fridge if needed.

Lumin-Gnomies

Join us at Amused Studios November3rd 2-4pm to make up to 3 of your own luminary creations.
Gnomes, trees and mushrooms are a few of the inspirations provided. Bringing your own ideas and inspirations is welcome too. We love helping students bring their ideas to life.
All projects will be made with wet clay rolled out into slabs, coils, balls ect, and sculpted into the luminary shape of the students choice,
Pieces can have color added with slips at time of making or student can choose 1 color for the work to be glazed in by the teacher.
Projects take 2-4 weeks for firing process.
Students are notified by txt when ready
Pottery is high fired and will be flame retardant for use with real candles under supervision.
Battery powered candles will be provided with finished pottery by Amused Studios.
Goddess Mug Class

Adults 18+ only
Sunday November 10th 2-3:30pm:
Join us to sculpt your own Goddess Mug.
We will provide a premade cup that is ready to be sculpted and teach you step by step how to sculpt it into a your own Goddess.
Finished pieces will vary based on the features you choose to create.
Jingly Bells Class
$45.00
November 30th, 2024: 2-3pm.
Join us as we create 2 festive holiday bells from soft clay slabs! We will design, build, and decorate the surface of our bells using a variety of techniques. Beginners welcome.
Holiday Ornament class
$25.00
December 1st 3-4pm
Make 3-5 ornaments hand building with clay. Slabs and cookie cutters or pinch pots with hand made designs are options for your holiday ornaments, a rainbow of colored slips will be available to decorate your creations. Will be ready in 2-3 weeks for pick up.
Ages 6 and up
Students are texted when ready, parents and friends welcome to sign up too!
Family of Gnomes
$25.00
December 28th 1-2 pm, Imma and Sarah will be teaching this winter Gnomes class.
Make up to 3 small ceramic items and decorate in a rainbow of slips.
Pottery will be glazed by the teacher and be finished firing 2-4 weeks after the class.
Students are texted when pottery is ready for pick up.
Ages 5 and up, adults are welcome to sign up along with kids.
some small children may need parental help.
Fantasy Creature

Create your own fantasy creature Jan 11th 2-4 pm
ages 13+ - through Adult.
Use our creations as your inspiration or bring your own ideas
pieces can be decorated in an array of slips, you can choose one glaze for your sculpture can be finished in or you can also choose no glaze and leave raw or paint when you get it back.
Projects take 2-4 weeks for firing process
students are txted when work is ready for pick up
Heart Shakers
$60.00
Feb 9th and Feb 23rd: Make 2 heart shakers Feb 9th from 2-4pm and return for raku firing Feb 23rd 1-4pm.
You can choose from a variety of low fire glazes or a horsehair or feather style raku. Raku is a low temp out door firing where the pottery is heated up in an out door kiln, pulled out at temp and either put in a can and lit on fire or horse hair and feathers are laid on the surface.
Results may vary
Raku is an extreme firing.
Not all pieces survive.
