This ceramic mushroom jar was painstakingly hand crafted by our Master Potter Robert Johnson. The design around the form was created digitally by Robert and a large texture stamp was created to texture the clay. The piece was crafted by creating a cylinder with the texture using hand forming methods and then the potters wheel is used to shape the form. The cap is thrown on the potters wheel in a process developed by Robert to create curves on all sides of the lid. The piece is then glazed in multiple layers to create the wonderful surface of this jar. This is a unique one of a kind handmade item exclusive to Amused Studios.
