Leaf Platter Class
Make your own Leaf Platter.
Platters will be made using a slab forming technique.
Bring a leaf you want to use or choose one of ours.
Class runs September 1st 2-2:30pm
Students may choose 1 glaze to have the pieces finished with by the teacher.
Platters will be finished 2-4 weeks after class. Students are notified when ready.
Pick-a-Pot Raku
July 28th, 1-5pm, or until firings are finished.
Raku is a fast firing where the piece is heated up in the kiln after decorated and then pulled out of the hot kiln and set on fire. The carbon creates unique marks on each piece.
Pick a premade vase made by Amused Studios and choose how to decorate it. We have a variety of low fire Raku -glazes that react with the fire and create unusual effects making each pot different. You can also try the horse hair and or feather technique as well. pots can also be purchased the day of the Raku for $25 each- ordering ahead help us have enough ready for the class
If you want to raku work you make you can take classes with us at least- 2 weeks in advance.

12 Week Session
We are inviting students to join an in depth pottery experience that adapts to your skill level. Rob and Sarah will guide you through the process of creating one of a kind unique pieces of pottery using the potters wheel or by using traditional handbuilding techniques. You will be able to choose how you create the pots you are interested in making based on which ever process best suits your desired result. after on the 6th and 12th week of class there will be a glazing day where you will learn to decorate and finish you wares with the wide spectrum of glazes we have available in our shop.

Thursday’s: October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, November 7, 14, 21 December 5, 12, 19, Jan 2. Jan 9th Make Up Day
Time: Evening 6-8pm
Friday’s: October4, 11, 18, 25, November 1, 8, 15, 22 December 6, 13, 20, January 3rd. Jan 10th make up day

There are 4 seats available for each option, when you sign up you are signing up for the same time slot every week.
We have make up days if anyone needs to make up days for any reason, we work with students to make up any days they need to miss.
Monday Evening 1 Hr Pottery
Join Patricia Rose for this 1 hour pottery class, from 4-5pm Monday’s. A great introduction to pottery, way to refresh your skills or continue your practice.
Choose your 1- 2 favorite pieces to keep in a class and pick a color for them to be glazed in. Students are notified when their pottery is ready by text, usually 4 weeks for the full firing process.
Open to Students 13 and older.
Please wear clothes you can get dirty, white clay washes out, but brown clay can stain. You will be given time to clean your wheel at the end of class before you choose your glaze colors.
Kids Pottery Thursdays 4:30-5:30
Join Sarah and Imma for a kids pottery class where we explore and learn all about making things out of clay. Kids have the opportunity to make a few pieces of pottery. Kids choose between wheel and hand building techniques- ideas for class are animal sculptures, bowls, mugs. Pieces take 2-4 weeks to finish and we txt when ready.
Please wear clothes you can get dirty, white clay washes out, but brown clay can stain.
Friday drop in 1-3pm
Drop in for a one time class or come back to continue working on your skills. Practice throwing and hand building. One time classes can choose a glaze to have work finished in or come back and glaze your own work in another class.
Clay, firings and glazes are included in price of class. Classes have 4 seats available.
Adults and Teens 13 and up
Saturday Kids Clay Class
Saturday Kids Summer Classes 12-1pm
Join Sarah and Imma for a kids pottery class where we explore and learn all about making things out of clay. Kids have the opportunity to make a few pieces of pottery, on the wheel or hand building, ideas for class are animal sculptures, bowls, mugs. They will choose their favorite 1 or 2 pieces to keep if they made more.
Parents, grandparents, guardians, ect may sign up along side their children to make a piece of pottery of their own if they want to. If the kids are small parents may need to help the children.
Ages 4 and up.
Pieces take 2-4 weeks to finish and we txt when ready.

Saturday Pottery on the Wheel
Join Rob and Sarah for all the basics and in depth knowledge on form and function. Learn how to make basic cylinders, bowls and plates or learn how to design your own pottery and find your voice in clay. Choose the best pieces to keep at the end of class and pick your favorite glaze for them to be finished in. Pottery will be finished in 4 weeks, students are texted when pieces are ready, shipping can be arranged for an additional fee.

People can choose to come once to try Pottery (if so they can choose a color of glaze that we finish the work with), or they can choose to take another class to make more work and glaze their own pots to learn more about the process; all of our glazes and underglazes are made in-house.
Pottery takes 4 weeks on average to finish, and we call each person when their piece(s) are ready to pick up.
