Rob ​​creates classically shaped pots with contemporary firing techniques that make his pottery look like it could have been dug up from a sunken treasure.  His super smooth surfaces and bulbous forms are accentuated by tiny necks and earthy red surfaces or contrasting black and white patterned with horse hair or feathers burned into them.   Some are even found to glitter and shimmer in the light.
